Abstract

Competition policy is essential to the competition of the internal market. It seeks to encourage economic efficiency by creating a climate favorable to innovation and technical progress. EU competition policy makes it possible to ensure that any anti-competitive practices by companies or national authorities do not hinder healthy competition. In this text we also tried to indicate the main problems in harmonization of our competition legislation with the one of the European Union.
